“Originally from Michigan, currently I’m based out of Seattle. I have a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University. My paintings are layers and layers of colors creating a chaotic harmony of depth and texture. My main inspiration is movement, the bustle of downtown Seattle where I paint, the cacophony of the Alaskan Way Viaduct outside my studio window. I use high gloss oil based enamel that swirls and blends with itself as it is applied. The result is a shiny hardened bubblegum effect. Buried in my paintings are often pieces of broken glass, tiles and other debris from a messy studio.”
