This year LUCID kicks off a campaign to better support YOU as an artist. With the connections and resources we’ve been able to amass since opening our doors, LUCID would like to give you the opportunity to promote your music and your brand even more. Solidify your music in the hearts and minds of your audience while building a long-term sales and fan base!

Are You 100% Original?

We want artists with 100% original content, who are willing to perform and record live. All shows are booked on the basis that the artist will record original material and provide our guests with the opportunity to have a piece of the evening for their personal keepsake.

It’s All About The Music

LUCID has always been about supporting our artists and showcasing top Seattle talent, producing popular events and showcases like the Inside Out Jazz Awards, U-District Jazz Festival and Jazz that Rocks. We’ve formed a working partnership with Love Studios and Contact Create Studios that will add a valuable depth to our current focus. The professional engineers that are apart of this amazing network make it all possible for us to record, mix and master each night.

How It Works

Your talents are presented in front of a live audience—a time where your artistry is at its peak. We capture this intimate music moment with in a multi-track and two-track recording format. Our guests, your fans, can purchase the two-track format of what they have heard during your performance. Music is available to guests within 48 hours of the performance to be downloaded from our bandcamp website.

The Recording Process

All shows will be multi-track and two track recorded. Recorded shows must consist of 100% original music.

Digital CD Release

All shows will be available to the public on LUCID Live Records Bandcamp page within 48 hours of the performance.

Promotion

LUCID will help promote all shows booked at LUCID, through local press and online media,
however artists are highly encouraged to promote their shows as well.

Hitting The Right Notes

Recording artists receive the ability to leverage the successful and established LUCID brand to promote themselves. Artists also receive a Drink and Food Tab for the evenings they record. Artists are encouraged to come back to LUCID to enjoy 15% off food and drink any day that LUCID has music!
As part of the program all artists get discounted access to LUCID and Contact Create Studios for future private recording sessions.

Q: Do I get paid per gig?
A: You receive all proceeds of sales from the evening’s recording.

Q: Who owns the music that is recorded?
A: You as the artist owns 100% rights to all music recorded.

Q: Can I perform at LUCID if I don’t have 100% original?
A: Yes, but the material we record and sell to our guest must be 100% original
